Elected Officials

The Maryland General Assembly met in a Special Session to discuss some key issues - gambling, slots and horse racing in Maryland and Taxes among the issues.  Attached is the Legislative Wrapup of the Special Session.  If you want to know who voted for what and the reasons why they voted the way they did, read the document.  It describes in painful detail the issue of slots in Maryland - Pros and Cons.

Below are pictures of the politicians that attended the Special Session and met with community leaders to discuss the outcome of the session.  This discussion was held at the Liberty Road Resource Center on December 12,2007.  Michelle Huggins attended and brought back this information.  Thank you Michelle.
